Above is my latest work. I am trying to stick to a theme to develop a series. It's hard for me. I have trouble staying focused on one subject matter but I am going to try to produce at least seven along the gardening friends theme. Your comments good, bad or indifferent are always appreciated.

I like your painting, and a previous one with butterfly. Don't worry about trying to stick to a theme. Although sometimes I really work on developing a series, and things go effortlessly, more often I go back and forth between themes. If I have a trouble focusing I just give it a rest and start something new. There can be couple of paintings just waiting for attention in my studio. I actually like working that way. My theory is always to sleep over it if I start to struggle.
